The Red Squirrel was born in February 2025 by Andy Blake, supported by his wife Esther. A shop selling carefully curated greetings cards, stationary and gift products, made predominantly in the UK by various UK designers and makers.
'The Red Squirrel' is one of our favourite animals and they can be found near to where we live. It's also a nod to the many happy memories we have made as a family watching red squirrels run around, and the fun we had feeding them. 'The Red Squirrel' is a shop for fun, happy creations.
In 2025 we will also be launching a small physical shop space, which will be open for a few hours a week creating the opportunity for people to browse our products and to collect online purchases at no cost.
VISIT OUR HQ
We have a shop based in Carlisle where you will find everything that is listed on our website (and a bit more). Our regular opening days are Tuesday to Thursday 10am until 2pm, and some Saturday mornings. If you are planning a visit check out our Facebook page as we do sometimes have to change the days we open.
